Matthew opened PRIMP after returning home from his travels across the East Coast. He spent some time in Charlotte, NC before moving to New York City for a strong dose of world-renown experience and inspiration. During his time in the Big Apple, Matthew worked at John Frieda Salon and Salon AKS along with several famous stylists: Orlando Pita, Oribe, Serge Normant and Oscar James. His editorial work has been featured in magazines such as German GQ, UK Vogue, and Latina Magazine. He has worked on several models and celebs during his time in New York and as well as for Naomi Campbell's Fashion For Relief  runway show, part of Fashion Week.

Matthew returned to the Corning area in 2007 where he opened his own salon. Today, he's part of a talented, all-star staff at PRIMP, where he specializes in mult-idementional color, precision haircuts, and specialized blowouts. He provides extension work and keratin treatments, and has had extensive training with Oribe, Redken, Wella, Bumble & Bumble, and Phyto.
